Brookes is respected for his ability to navigate the intersections of politics, industry, non-profits & civil society, and to craft diplomatic solutions to policy challenges while maintaining strong relationships.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the political, public, private and non-profit spheres, spanning careers in journalism, communications, public relations, reputation management, and government relations. 

He has worked in major metro newsrooms in Toronto and Edmonton, served as Communications Director in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, social media consultant to the Government of Alberta, and across multiple industries where he has been commissioned to craft strategies for some of Canada's most prominent companies.

Eliza Barlow, B.A., B. J.


Eliza is an award-winning journalist, investigative writer, and editor with more than 18 years experience in newsrooms and magazines in the United States and Canada. 

She is respected for developing trusted, confidential relationships that yield results, and draw attention. 

Eliza writes about all levels of government, politics, business, technology, crime, courts, and human interest pieces.

She is also an experienced editorial project manager and podcast presenter, and works with some of Edmonton and Alberta's most notable publications.
